Finch Pine one of the last of Capitol Hills _________ and _________ wave has closed

Seattle, WALocal News

Finch and Pine has officially closed, marking the end of its four-year run in Capitol Hill. Owner Sara Moran announced the closure, citing the demanding nature of restaurant management and her readiness for a new chapter. The cafe, located at 711 Bellevue Ave E, featured a distinctive circular tiled bar and offered innovative food and drink options since its opening in 2021. Moran expressed appreciation for the community's support and indicated her intention to work as a chef for private events in the future. The closure reflects a broader trend in Capitol Hill as the popular “_________ and _________” restaurant naming convention fades.

This space has hosted several notable food projects over the years, including those by local entrepreneurs like Dani Cone and Roz Edison. The iconic cedar tree out front remains a fixture as the neighborhood anticipates what will take its place. Finch and Pine's departure underscores the evolving nature of Capitol Hill's dining landscape.
