Redmond police are intensifying their search for additional victims of Christopher A. Remsing, a 30-year-old man arrested in September 2023 as part of an undercover operation targeting child sexual abuse. Charged with two counts of Attempted Rape of a Child in the First Degree, Remsing has a troubling history of offering babysitting services to gain unsupervised access to minors. After his arrest, detectives executed a search warrant at his vehicle and apartment, where they seized hundreds of pairs of children's underwear, other clothing items, and electronic devices containing images of sexual abuse against minors.

Remsing is currently in custody at King County Correctional Facility, with bail set at $750,000. Jill Green, the Public Information Officer, urges anyone with related information or concerns about their children to contact the Redmond Police Department. The community is encouraged to remain vigilant as the investigation continues. This case highlights the ongoing issue of child safety and the measures law enforcement is taking to protect vulnerable populations.
