Two Men Arrested for Burglary of Redmond Home

In Redmond, two men have been arrested for their alleged involvement in a residential burglary that occurred on October 13, 2024. The incident began when the homeowner spotted the theft on surveillance footage and promptly notified the police. Officers responded quickly and learned that the suspects fled the scene in a black Kia, prompting the homeowner to pursue them. Witnesses reported seeing the suspects abandon the vehicle and discard stolen jewelry, which police later recovered, valued at approximately $8,000. The suspects, identified as Iustinian Iamandita and Florin Vaduva, are believed to be part of an organized Roma crime group linked to several burglaries in Redmond and nearby communities.

The Redmond Police Department expressed gratitude to the Kent Police Department for their assistance in the investigation. As this case remains active, authorities encourage anyone with additional information to contact them.
