Eastside Climate Partnership Launches Solarize Eastside

Redmond, WALocal News

The Eastside Climate Partnership has officially launched the Solarize Eastside program, designed to help residents of Redmond, Bellevue, Issaquah, Kirkland, Mercer Island, and Sammamish install solar panels on their properties. Interested homeowners and business owners can register for free solar assessments until July 4 through SolarizeEastside. org. Upon registration, they will receive detailed proposals from local solar installers at discounted rates, along with special financing options from Puget Sound Cooperative Credit Union. This initiative not only aims to reduce installation costs but also encourages the use of renewable energy, contributing to climate pollution reduction.

The program collaborates with trusted local installers to ensure quality and reliability in the installation process. Throughout the four-month program, free community workshops will educate residents about solar energy, available incentives, and what to expect from the installation process. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and gain insights directly from the Solarize Eastside team and installers. Overall, this initiative represents a significant step toward advancing sustainability in the Eastside communities.
