The City of Redmond is seeking to fill a volunteer position on its Arts and Culture Commission, which is integral to promoting arts and cultural activities within the community. The commission’s current initiatives include the Poet Laureate Program and the Downtown Redmond Art Walk, both designed to enrich the local cultural landscape. Monthly meetings are held at Redmond City Hall and require active participation, with options for virtual attendance via Microsoft Teams.

Commissioners also engage with special committees and contribute to public art projects while representing community interests to the City Council. The application deadline is February 9, 2024, but the position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
