Redmond Police Seek Public's Help Identifying Shoplift and Assault Suspects

On July 15, 2024, at around 7:35 p. m. , Redmond Police were dispatched to a liquor store in response to a shoplifting incident that turned violent. Three female suspects, estimated to be in their late teens or early twenties, entered the store and began loading bags with alcoholic beverages. As they attempted to flee, one suspect forcefully pushed an 83-year-old female employee to the ground, resulting in injuries that required hospitalization.

Fortunately, her injuries were non-life-threatening. The suspects successfully stole over $3,000 worth of alcohol before escaping the scene. Later that night, law enforcement succeeded in arresting one suspect who was dressed in a pink crop top on unrelated charges. The Redmond Police Department is now actively seeking assistance from the community to identify the remaining two suspects involved in the incident. Anyone with pertinent information is encouraged to contact the police department as they work to ensure community safety.
