Downtown Redmond Art Walk Returns to Downtown Park

The City of Redmond is hosting the Downtown Redmond Art Walk (DRAW) on September 19, 2024, starting at 4 p. m. This free event is designed to celebrate local artists and businesses while providing an engaging experience for community members. The Downtown Park will be the focal point of the event, featuring art installations, performances, and live mural painting. According to Mayor Angela Birney, the event presents an excellent opportunity for residents and visitors to support local talent and businesses.

In addition to the activities in the park, attendees will receive a map for a self-guided tour of participating businesses showcasing local artists' work. The event builds upon the successes of last year's Art Walk and aims to strengthen the arts community in Redmond. The DRAW is made possible by a generous Arts Sustained Support grant from 4Culture, emphasizing the city's commitment to the arts. Community members are encouraged to participate and enjoy the vibrant offerings of local creativity.
