The City of Redmond, Sound Transit, and Microsoft recently celebrated the grand opening of the new Redmond Technology Station Bridge with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by local officials and community leaders. The design, crafted by AECOM and engineered by Kiewit Engineering Group, incorporates functional canopies, landscaped planters, and benches to enhance the user experience. Councilmember Claudia Balducci emphasized the bridge's importance in connecting passengers to the growing light rail system. Alice Jolla from Microsoft highlighted the bridge as a symbol of the company’s commitment to the local community and its collaborative efforts with city and transit officials.
