Redmond Police Seek Public's Help Identifying Shoplift and Assault Suspects

Redmond Police are actively investigating a shoplifting incident that turned violent on July 15, 2024. At around 7:35 p. m. , three young women entered a liquor store and began stealing alcoholic beverages. As they attempted to leave, one suspect violently shoved an 83-year-old female employee, causing her to fall and sustain non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspects fled with more than $3,000 worth of merchandise, and no weapons were observed during the incident. Authorities were able to apprehend one suspect wearing a pink crop top later that evening on unrelated charges, but the other two suspects remain unidentified. Redmond Police are asking for the public's help in locating the remaining suspects and encourage anyone with information to reach out. The incident highlights ongoing concerns about safety and crime in the community. The police department's proactive approach seeks to engage the community in resolving this case.
