The City of Redmond is actively seeking applicants for an open seat on the Human Services Commission, which provides vital guidance to the Mayor and City Council on human services. Applicants must reside or work within the 98052 or 98053 zip code areas, ensuring local representation. The commission convenes on the second Monday of each month, discussing important issues such as basic needs, health care, and family support. Members volunteer their time and are expected to engage in meaningful discussions to enhance the city's effectiveness in addressing these topics. Candidates must demonstrate a genuine interest in human services and a willingness to learn.
