The Redmond Police Department will host a firearm exchange event on September 20, from 9 a. m. to 1 p. m. at its North Lot, allowing residents to turn in unwanted firearms for gift cards.

Gift card values range from $0 for replicas and toy guns to $300 for AR-style and automatic rifles.
