Extremely rare dedication honors Puyallup WWII soldier awarded the Medal of Honor
Puyallup City Hall has renamed its lobby to honor Lt. Victor Leonard Kandle, a World War II soldier awarded the Medal of Honor posthumously. The dedication, attended by community members and veterans, recognizes Kandle's bravery and significant contributions during his military service. Mayor Jim Kastama highlighted the importance of remembering local heroes who sacrificed for their country.
