Motorcyclist killed, driver arrested after Puyallup crash

A motorcyclist died and an impaired driver was arrested for vehicular homicide following a collision in Puyallup on Sunday evening. The crash occurred at approximately 5:30 p. m. at the intersection of 120th Avenue Court East and 152nd Street East. Witnesses reported that the suspect was driving recklessly at a high speed when they crossed the center line, colliding head-on with two motorcycles.

The driver continued down the road, causing additional damage to street signs and a school fire hydrant before finally stopping. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, underscoring the dangers of reckless driving during the 100 deadliest days of the year. The Pierce County Sheriff's Office is handling the investigation into the incident. This tragedy highlights ongoing concerns about impaired and reckless driving on local roads.
