Hiker says pet Pomeranian was stolen by stranger on Enumclaw, WA trail

Puyallup, WALocal News

Daniel Ortiz Rebollar's recent hike on the Cal Magnusson trail in Enumclaw, Washington, turned into a nightmare when his Pomeranian, Vanny, was stolen by a stranger. As he was enjoying the trail with Vanny just behind him, he greeted a man who was descending the path. Moments later, he heard his dog yelp and turned to see the man fleeing with Vanny hidden under his clothing. Despite Rebollar's desperate attempt to catch up, the thief reached the parking lot first, taunting him with the chilling words, "You don’t deserve this dog! " This traumatic experience has left him feeling vulnerable and concerned for his pet's safety.

The King County Sheriff's Office is actively investigating the incident, seeking any leads from the public. Rebollar, who treasures his bond with Vanny, expressed his deep emotional pain over the loss. He remains hopeful that someone will come forward with information to help reunite him with his beloved companion.
