Puyallup, WALocal News

In Puyallup, Washington, police have arrested five juveniles connected to three separate shootings that transpired between December 12 and December 28, 2024. The first shooting occurred during an attempted robbery on 47th Avenue Southeast, where suspects fired at a victim fleeing the scene, striking his car and two others, but resulting in no injuries. A second incident involved gunfire directed at a Pierce County Transit bus, with both the victim and suspects being passengers, and fortunately, no injuries were reported. The most serious of the three cases took place at the Glenbrooke apartment complex, linked to an illegal gun purchase, where a victim sustained a leg injury requiring urgent medical care. Following thorough investigations, police made four arrests on January 10, charging the suspects with first-degree assault, robbery, unlawful possession of a firearm, and reckless endangerment.

A fifth suspect was later captured during a traffic stop, facing similar serious charges. Due to Washington State law regarding juvenile suspects, details about the individuals involved remain undisclosed. This series of events highlights ongoing concerns regarding gun violence and juvenile crime in the region.
