Whitman County Library receives Addium-METER Foundation grant

The Whitman County Rural Library District has received a $2,500 grant from the Addium-METER Foundation for educational resources, including a 3D printer and storage cabinets for its TEK Center in Colfax. The foundation, based in Pullman, aims to combat poverty and promote education in the community. Since its establishment in 2018, it has granted $538,000 to local nonprofits, demonstrating its commitment to enhancing quality of life in the area. Volunteers from the Addium-METER Foundation will assist with assembling the new storage cabinets and organizing the STEM library. The library district has benefited from the foundation's support in the past, receiving aid for various improvements, including carpet and HVAC upgrades.
