Driver hospitalized after downtown Moscow pickup crash

A pickup truck crashed into the Hodge and Associates Inc. Engineers building in downtown Moscow at approximately 5 a. m. on Friday, sending the driver to Gritman Medical Center with injuries. Moscow Fire Chief Brian Nickerson confirmed the driver's hospitalization following the accident.

The crash caused significant structural damage to the brick building, leading authorities to close two lanes of traffic and a nearby sidewalk while crews worked to remove the vehicle. Moscow Police announced that traffic lanes reopened around 4:30 p. m. This incident raises alarms about vehicle safety in urban settings, especially during early morning hours when visibility may be limited.
