Motorcycle crash in Whitman County sends a man to Sacred Heart

A motorcycle crash near Tekoa on Saturday evening left 24-year-old Muhammed Rasvi severely injured. The incident occurred around 8:15 p. m. when Rasvi lost control of his motorcycle while navigating a curve at the intersection of Fairbanks and Waterman roads. Witnesses reported seeing the motorcycle veer off the roadway and come to rest in a ravine.

Emergency responders airlifted Rasvi to Providence Sacred Heart Hospital for urgent medical treatment. Whitman County Sheriff Brett Myers indicated that speed might have been a contributing factor in the crash. The investigation remains ongoing, with local authorities examining the details of the incident. Whitman County deputies and emergency medical crews quickly responded to provide assistance. Motorcycle safety remains a critical concern in the region, especially given the potential risks associated with high speeds.
