Pete Chittenden has been promoted to executive director of the Pullman Chamber of Commerce, succeeding Marie Dymkoski, who resigned in April after a 16-year tenure. Chittenden has dedicated four years to the chamber, serving on its Board of Directors and government affairs committee. His extensive local engagement includes positions on the Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation Board and United Way of Whitman County. The chamber also appointed Tim Braun as its new business and communications manager, who worked alongside Chittenden at DABCO. Braun replaces Audrey Hughes, who departed in May after a little over a year.

Interim Executive Director Alexis Foran has returned to her primary role as tourism promotions manager. The leadership transitions are expected to enhance the chamber's focus on supporting local businesses and community initiatives. These changes mark a significant moment for the chamber as it continues to adapt to the evolving needs of the Pullman community.
