Pullman taking applications for administrator post

Pullman, WALocal News

Pullman is actively seeking a new city administrator, offering a salary between $141,768 and $172,320. This position became available after Mike Urban's departure, who claims he was wrongfully terminated by the city amid an investigation. Urban had been placed on administrative leave but returned to work after being exonerated from false accusations. The city asserts that Urban resigned, while his attorney disputes this claim, stating he was illegally fired. Applications for the role will be accepted until June 29, and the city will begin reviewing candidates afterward.

Jeff Elbracht, the Finance and Administrative Services Director, is currently filling the interim role. The city has indicated that a timeline for the hiring process will be disclosed later. This administrative vacancy is significant for local governance as it impacts city management and community relations.
