With 30 years of experience in firefighting, Nash previously served as a Battalion Chief in Henderson, Nevada, where he managed seven fire stations and oversaw over 300 personnel. His extensive background includes serving as a Fire Captain for eleven years and working as a firefighter/paramedic since 1994. Nash holds a bachelor’s degree in fire administration and has taught emergency medical services at the Community College of Southern Nevada for eight years, showcasing his commitment to education and community service. He expressed his gratitude towards the Pullman community and is dedicated to maintaining the department's tradition of excellence in safety and engagement.

Nash's leadership is expected to enhance community safety and strengthen the department's relationship with local citizens.
