Free holiday community meals offered throughout the region

The Lewiston area will celebrate Thanksgiving with several organizations offering free meals to the community. The Salvation Army invites everyone to its community dinner from noon to 1:30 p. m. on Thursday, aiming to serve 150 individuals. Waha Grill will serve a free meal from noon until 8 p.

m. , marking its sixth year of providing this service, and accepting donations. Inland Oasis will host a potluck from noon to 7 p. m. , featuring games and a meal served at 4 p.

m. , welcoming attendees to bring side dishes or desserts. The Wrangler will begin serving at 1 p. m. , with meal deliveries offered for those who cannot attend, although prior sign-up was required.

Clearwater Baptist Church will provide a meal at 2 p. m. , inviting attendees to bring dishes if they wish. Kamiah Seventh-day Adventist Church will also host a plant-based Thanksgiving meal at 2 p. m.
