Meals for Thanksgiving are planned around the region
Various local organizations are stepping up to provide free Thanksgiving meals, ensuring everyone has a place to celebrate. St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Kamiah will offer a takeout dinner on Thursday, with a deadline for reservations set for today. Inland Oasis in Moscow is hosting a family-friendly potluck on Saturday, encouraging attendees to contribute a dish. The annual Grangeville community dinner is scheduled for Sunday at Grangeville Elementary Middle School, hosted by the Church of Nazarene.
In Lewiston, the Salvation Army will serve a community dinner and deliver meals to individuals in need, aiming to serve around 150 people. Waha Grill invites the public to enjoy a free meal from noon to 8 p. m. on Thursday, marking its sixth year of this tradition. The Wrangler in Lewiston also offers a free dinner, with options for delivery to those unable to attend in person.
