Lewiston man injured in motorcycle crash early Saturday morning
A Lewiston man suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a motorcycle crash in Clarkston on Saturday morning. First responders arrived around 7 a. m. after the rider was discovered in a parking lot on the 1000 block of 16th Avenue. The motorcycle had been traveling eastbound on Fleshman Way when it left the road and collided with a 6-foot chain-link fence.
The rider remained at the crash site for several hours before a passerby noticed him and called for help. No other injuries were reported, although a parked vehicle sustained minor damage. The Asotin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident, with speed believed to be a contributing factor.
