Numerous Halloween-themed events are on tap around region this week
As Halloween approaches, the region announces a series of themed events designed for families and adults alike. The Lapwai Trick-or-Treat in the Park kicks off the festivities on Thursday, offering a safe environment for children to enjoy candy and concessions. On Friday, the Clarkston Heights Grange Hall hosts a children’s carnival and an adult Halloween party, emphasizing community engagement. The Scaregrounds Haunted Hayride, running Friday and Saturday, features a haunting experience with affordable ticket options for families. Saturday also includes Hells-O-Ween and Pumpkin Palooza, both promising a mix of fun, food, and festivities.
The Halloween Show on Sunday will present staged readings of classic horror literature, aiming to entertain older audiences. From October 28-31, multiple haunted attractions will open, including the Clarkston High School Haunted House, with proceeds supporting the Drama Club. On Halloween, various trunk-or-treat and community events will provide safe trick-or-treating opportunities for families across the region.
