Meanwhile, the Moscow Volunteer Fire Department's pancake feed drew significant crowds, with Chief Brian Nickerson reporting attendance of 800 to 1,000 people. This event not only provided breakfast but also launched the department's annual fundraising drive for maintenance and equipment.
