A GoFundMe page has been established to help Dawson with his mounting medical and legal costs, reflecting the community's commitment to supporting him.

Dawson expressed his gratitude on social media, stating, “BY GRACE OF GOD IM ALIVE AND BREATHING. ” The incident raises concerns about campus safety and the need for accountability in such altercations.
