The fire, which spanned approximately 6. 7 acres, was managed with the help of several local agencies, including the Genesee Fire Department and Nez Perce Tribal fire department.

Ground and air crews worked together to contain the fire, preventing it from spreading further. This incident underscores the importance of inter-agency cooperation in managing wildfire threats.
