Rosalia man injured in motorcycle crash Saturday in Tekoa

On Saturday morning, a motorcycle crash in Tekoa left 20-year-old Bryce Casey from Rosalia with serious injuries. The accident occurred around 11 a. m. at the intersection of Poplar and Washington streets when Casey attempted to overtake a truck that was turning. He was ejected from his motorcycle and was airlifted to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane for medical attention.

The truck’s driver and passenger reported only minor injuries. Whitman County deputies are investigating the incident, citing speed and unsafe passing as potential contributing factors. Local authorities have been focusing on improving traffic safety measures in the area due to similar past incidents. Motorcycle safety remains a significant concern among residents and officials alike. This crash serves as a reminder of the risks associated with unsafe driving practices.
