The incident occurred on the 400 block of South Roosevelt Street around 8 p. m. , prompting the SWAT team to respond and a shelter-in-place order to be issued for nearby residents. Chief Anthony Dahlinger confirmed that neighbors reported the gunfire, which led to the police's swift action.
