A man sustained non-life-threatening injuries in an ATV crash in Endicott on Friday evening. Riding solo in a field north of the Endicott School, he went airborne over a bump and crashed upon landing. The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office stated that the rider, who was not wearing a helmet, contacted Whitcom 911 at 8:05 p. m. Emergency services responded promptly to the scene.

He was airlifted to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries. This incident underscores the dangers of ATV riding, particularly the significance of wearing a helmet and other safety gear.
