Phyllis Krogman pleads not guilty to conspiracy to commit murder
Phyllis Krogman, 65, and Thomas Krogman, 68, face serious charges in Asotin County Superior Court linked to a knife attack on Phyllis's brother, Daniel Henry, 72. At her arraignment, Phyllis pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to commit murder, while Thomas faced first-degree attempted murder charges. The attack occurred at a Motel 6 on June 2, where Henry was stabbed multiple times but survived. Allegations suggest that Phyllis sought revenge for sexual abuse claims against Henry dating back to his childhood. During a recorded phone call, she expressed a desire for her brother to "pay" for his past actions.
Surveillance footage documented the attack, and after it, Thomas drove back to Wyoming, where he was later arrested. Both are currently being held without bond, with Phyllis's next court appearance scheduled for August 4 and Thomas's trial set for early September. The case highlights unresolved family trauma and the lengths to which individuals may go for perceived justice.
