Wife of man accused of attempted murder arrested Monday

Pullman, WALocal News

Phyllis K. Krogman was arrested outside the Asotin County Superior Court after a detective testified about her role in a conspiracy to murder her brother. Her husband, Thomas R. Krogman, faces an attempted murder charge for allegedly stabbing Daniel Henry at a Clarkston motel earlier this year. Evidence presented included a jail call where Phyllis expressed a desire for retribution, leading to her arrest for potential first-degree attempted murder and conspiracy charges.

Prosecutor Curt Liedkie described the attack as premeditated and linked it to unresolved family trauma stemming from historic abuse. Thomas Krogman's attorney sought to reduce his bond, arguing that his client has no criminal history and is a respected community member. The judge denied the bond request, citing the severity of the crime, while also noting the emotional impact of the violent incident. Both defendants now face serious felony charges that could have long-term implications for their lives and families. The next court appearance for Thomas Krogman is scheduled for Monday.
