Wife of man accused of attempted murder held without bond

Pullman, WALocal News

Phyllis K. Krogman, 65, faces serious felony charges, including conspiracy to commit murder and attempted murder, in connection with the stabbing of her brother, Daniel Henry, 72, at a Motel 6 in Clarkston on June 2. Prosecutor Curt Liedkie detailed that Phyllis allegedly orchestrated the attack due to longstanding revenge motives stemming from childhood sexual abuse allegations against her brother. Surveillance video captured the stabbing, and authorities noted that her husband, Thomas Krogman, 68, is also charged and is being held without bond. After the attack, Thomas drove back to Wyoming, where he was arrested.

Jailhouse phone calls revealed Phyllis's involvement, with her expressing a desire for her brother to face consequences. Both Krogmans are awaiting court appearances on Monday. The case has drawn attention due to the nature of the allegations and the familial ties involved. Their legal representation includes Spokane attorney Steve Graham for Thomas and Lewiston attorney Rick Cuddihy for Phyllis.
