Each visitor receives a custom field guide that describes the whimsical characters on display. Hours of operation are from 11am to 8pm Sunday to Thursday and from 11am to 9pm on Friday and Saturday.

General admission costs $14, while children 12 and under pay $10, and kids under 2 enter for free. The aquarium aims to offer a family-friendly experience that blends art and education, making it a unique addition to downtown Portland. This initiative reflects the city's growing emphasis on creative and interactive cultural attractions.
