A whole new Space Jam Paul George Foundation to send Philly students to space camp

Paul George, a nine-time All-Star and forward for the Philadelphia 76ers, partners with the Paul George Foundation to send five students from the Philadelphia area to space camp this summer. The selected students, dubbed the “PG 8 Space Crew,” attend local schools and have shown remarkable dedication to their studies. This initiative aims to inspire youth to pursue careers in STEM fields, reinforcing George's commitment to providing opportunities for underserved communities. He highlighted the importance of ambition, saying, “Don’t tell me the sky’s the limit when there are footprints on the moon. ” The camp journey begins on June 14 and concludes on June 20 at Advanced Space Academy.

The foundation has supported educational initiatives since 2011 and focuses on expanding opportunities in various areas, including health and well-being.
