Philadelphia, PALocal News

The Office of Sustainability invites Philadelphia residents to contribute to the Citywide Climate Resilience survey, a crucial step in developing the Climate Resilience Plan. This plan will focus on mitigating climate impacts like heat waves, flooding, and extreme storms while promoting community engagement. The survey enables residents to express their experiences and share insights on local climate and environmental justice issues. It aims to gather feedback on how effectively local government addresses these challenges, particularly in communities most affected by environmental injustices. Available in eight languages, the survey takes 10-20 minutes to complete, ensuring accessibility for diverse participants.

Residents are encouraged to stay updated on engagement events related to the Climate Resilience Plan. Their input will directly inform future policies and initiatives, emphasizing the importance of community voices in resilience planning. This effort underscores the City's commitment to creating a more equitable and informed approach to climate resilience.
