The Delaware River Waterfront will enhance summer experiences in 2025 with attractions like Spruce Street Harbor Park and Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest under the slogan "Make Summer Yours. " This initiative invites locals to participate in a variety of activities, including treasure hunts, fitness classes, and live performances. Joseph A. Forkin, President & CEO of the DRWC, states that the waterfront will be a vibrant hub for creating memories. Spruce Street Harbor Park will feature local bands, dance nights, and a "Family Fun Day Sunday" with PopUpPlay.

Meanwhile, Summerfest will mimic a boardwalk atmosphere with carnival games, mini-golf, and artist-led workshops. Food vendors such as Chickie’s & Pete’s and Philly Tacos will provide popular local dishes. The focus on community engagement and diverse events aims to foster a lively summer atmosphere. The waterfront's attractions and events are positioned to draw both locals and visitors alike.
