Philly breweries team up for Six Degrees of Fermentation to benefit Kevin Bacons nonprofit

Philadelphia breweries have come together to create "Six Degrees of Fermentation," a new beer that supports Kevin Bacon's nonprofit, SixDegrees. org. Participating breweries include Yards Brewing Company, Attic Brewing Co, and Evil Genius Beer Company, showcasing the spirit of collaboration in the local brewing scene. A launch party is set for May 28, 2025, at Yards Brewing, featuring community activities like trivia and a Kevin Bacon costume contest. The beer will be available on tap and in six packs until June 30, with a portion of sales benefiting programs focused on youth empowerment and justice.

Each participating brewery will sell a uniquely designed canned version featuring Kevin Bacon's likeness. This collaborative effort reflects the strength of Philadelphia's craft beer community and its commitment to social causes. "Six Degrees of Fermentation" serves as a reminder of the connections that can foster positive change in the world.
