The Spring Makers Market kicks off creative programming at Dilworth Park

Dilworth Park hosts the Spring Makers Market every Friday and Saturday from May 2 to June 28, featuring a diverse array of handmade goods from local artisans. Organizer Thomas Bauer highlights the event's significance in promoting local creativity and introduces the first Vintage Marketplace weekends on May 30-31 and June 27-28. These weekends will showcase vintage vendors with a focus on retro fashion and unique collectibles. The Rothman Orthopaedics Roller Rink, with its retro design, will be open until June 29, with ticket prices set at $10 for adults and $8 for children under 10. The Marketplace admission is free, making it a family-friendly destination.

Attendees can enjoy food, beverages, and gifts on a pay-as-you-go basis. Vendors interested in participating can fill out an application on the Philadelphia Marketplace website. The event not only supports local businesses but also enhances community engagement in Center City.
