Philadelphia St. Patricks Day Parade What to know before you go

The Philadelphia St. Patrick’s Day Parade, a cherished local tradition in its 255th year, will take place on Sunday, March 16, 2025, beginning at 11 a. m. The parade will kick off after a 9 a. m.

Catholic Mass at Saint Patrick’s Church, creating a day filled with cultural celebration. The route will start at 16th Street and John F. Kennedy Boulevard, culminating at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where the main grandstands will be located. Attendees should be aware of significant road closures and parking restrictions implemented from 5:30 a. m.

until 4 p. m. to facilitate the event, with a strong recommendation to use public transportation. For those who cannot attend in person, the parade will be broadcast live on CW Philly 57 and CBS News Philadelphia, ensuring that the festivities can be enjoyed from home. This event not only highlights Irish culture but also reinforces community spirit in Philadelphia.
