The Wardrobe celebrates Womens History Month with free bras, clothing and career workshops
In celebration of Women’s History Month, The Wardrobe is hosting events across the Philadelphia region on March 27, offering women free Smart & Sexy bras and professional or casual clothing. Sponsored by National Smart & Sexy Day and the Alliance of Career Development Nonprofits, these events are designed to empower women by providing essential clothing and educational resources. Attendees can receive a complimentary bra fitting and participate in seminars focused on various aspects of empowerment, including a panel discussion centered on identity and confidence. The theme “The Power of And” encourages women to embrace their diverse roles as leaders, innovators, and caregivers without limitations. Additionally, a financial empowerment workshop titled "Your Wallet 101" will equip women with practical money management skills, covering topics such as budgeting and credit.
The Wardrobe has been dedicated to eliminating clothing insecurity for 30 years and supports around 10,000 individuals each year. Open to all, The Wardrobe also offers coaching and workshops to help clients achieve their personal and professional goals. Donations are always welcome to sustain their mission of fostering independence and stability.
