The initiative will commence on September 26, 2024, with the world premiere of Terence Blanchard's *Orchestral Suite from Fire Shut Up in My Bones*, performed at the newly named Marian Anderson Hall. President and CEO Matías Tarnopolsky highlighted the importance of Anderson's legacy in shaping a season dedicated to inclusivity and diversity in the performing arts. The initiative will feature a variety of performances throughout the 2024-25 season, including works by significant composers such as William Grant Still and Florence Price. Other premieres will include Gabriela Lena Frank's *Picaflor* and Barbara Assiginaak’s *Eko-Bmijwang*, showcasing a commitment to represent diverse voices in music.
