Philadelphia has announced road closures and parking restrictions for the 2025 Annual Philly Bike Ride, scheduled for October 18. This car-free event spans 20 miles and is accessible to cyclists aged 3 and older, allowing participants to experience the city's historic sites. Streets will begin closing at 3:30 a. m. , with all roads expected to reopen by 2 p.

m. Additional closures will start at 6:30 a. m. and last until noon. Parking will be restricted on several streets from midnight to 1 p.

m. , with vehicles in violation relocated. For public transport, three SEPTA stations are located within a mile of the start line, offering easy access. The ride is rain or shine, with festivities concluding at 12:30 p. m.

Residents must adhere to traffic signs and instructions from the Philadelphia Police Department.
