Philadelphia, PALocal News

Triple Bottom Brewing will host a ‘Know Your Rights’ training on September 15, aimed at educating allies on how to support undocumented individuals. This initiative, partnering with local advocacy groups Juntos and The Welcoming Center, seeks to provide actionable knowledge on responding to ICE encounters. Founder Tess Hart remarked that proactive allyship is crucial for immigrant communities facing persistent threats. The training will focus on the role that small business owners and employees can play in advocating for their undocumented staff. Attendees will learn how to protect their friends and neighbors from unjust detentions while promoting inclusive practices in their workplaces.

This event underscores Triple Bottom Brewing's commitment to community engagement, extending beyond their craft beer offerings. Registration is required for privacy reasons, and both in-person and virtual options are available. Hart expressed her desire for widespread participation, emphasizing that this knowledge empowers individuals to protect vulnerable community members.
