Call for applications Climate Resilience Partner Program

The Office of Sustainability (OOS) invites community-based organizations to apply for the Climate Resilience Partner Program, seeking 18 partners to aid in developing Philadelphia's Climate Resilience Plan. Each partner will play a vital role in engaging local communities, receiving training in climate fundamentals and a $10,000 grant to support their initiatives. The program emphasizes the importance of community input, particularly from populations most impacted by climate change. Organizations will nominate a Partner Ambassador to act as the main liaison, facilitating discussions on community concerns and resilience strategies. Applications are due by 5 p.

m. on September 3, 2025, with selected organizations notified by September 15, 2025. This initiative aligns with Philadelphia's efforts to combat climate change effects such as extreme weather and flooding. By incorporating local voices, the program aims to create a more equitable and effective resilience plan. The project is in collaboration with the Hinge Collective and supported by the William Penn Foundation.
