Between Friends Boutique, a mother-daughter venture, offers fashionable women's clothing from independent designers, many of whom are Black women. Foliage, owned by Yolanda Palmer, specializes in a variety of plants and provides services such as repotting and plant maintenance. Home Works, led by Shawn Gibbons, features an interior design business alongside a retail showroom. Food lovers can savor soul food at Southern Flames BBQ, run by Pastor James H.

Buck Jr. Residents can also rejuvenate at wellness-focused venues like Jennifer’s Leaf yoga studio and Serenity Aesthetics & Wellness, a medical spa founded by Dr. Gina Charles. DanceFit, founded by Megan Kizer, offers dance-based fitness classes to promote wellness through movement. This initiative encourages community members to support local businesses and celebrate diversity in entrepreneurship.
