Famous 4th Street Cookie Company offers 1 treats to help local families

The Famous 4th Street Cookie Company celebrates National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day on August 4 by offering $1 chocolate chip cookies, with proceeds benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Philadelphia Region. Customers can purchase these cookies at various store locations in Greater Philadelphia and New Jersey, as well as through online delivery apps like DoorDash and Grubhub. A special soft opening for a new Famous Cookie Creamery location will be held at 4004 Spruce St. in Spruce Hill, where families from local Ronald McDonald Houses are invited to enjoy free cookies and ice cream from 4 to 6 p. m.

The company will donate 300 cookies to Ronald McDonald House Philadelphia during this event. Besides the $1 cookies, Famous 4th Street will offer Chocolate Chip Dipped Cookies designed for the charity at Reading Terminal Market for $5, with all proceeds going to the cause. Additionally, a donation box will be available at the Reading Terminal Market booth, featuring a QR code for donations to the Ronald McDonald House Philadelphia. Customers contributing $10 or more will receive a free cookie, with up to 500 cookies being distributed throughout the day. Famous 4th Street is also running a giveaway through social media, where the winner will receive 100 cookies, and proceeds will be donated in their name to the charity.
