The Hoagie Throwdown, orchestrated by Chef Eli Kulp, is set for September 7 at Other Half Brewing, blending gourmet sandwiches with professional wrestling entertainment. Over a dozen renowned local vendors, such as Càphê Roasters and Farina Di Vita, will showcase their best hoagies. Kulp remarked on Philadelphia's exceptional hoagie scene, highlighting the creativity within its sandwich-making community. Attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite hoagie, with the leading vendor crowned Hoagie Champion for 2025. General admission tickets include hoagie samples and access to live wrestling matches, while VIP tickets provide exclusive food and early access to a lounge.

The event will be a celebration of not just food but the vibrant culture of Philadelphia, aiming to unite the community through its love for hoagies. With only 500 tickets available, early-bird pricing starts at $45, making it an accessible and exciting occasion for food and wrestling fans alike. Plans are already in place to establish the Hoagie Throwdown as an annual event.
