The administration is committed to negotiating a fair contract with municipal workers while ensuring public safety. City Solicitor Renee Garcia condemned illegal activities that disrupt city operations and emphasized support for lawful protests. The Department of Sanitation is increasing resources to manage waste collection, monitoring dumpster sites, and servicing them multiple times a day.

The Sanitation Convenience Center is now open daily from 6 a. m. to 10 p. m. for residents to dispose of waste without issues.

Officials remind residents to avoid illegal dumping and follow updated guidelines for dumpster locations. The city is continuously assessing the situation and adjusting resources as needed. City leaders express gratitude for the community's patience and cooperation during this challenging period.
